Eye Exams
At all locations, we provide comprehensive eye exams where you will always get a copy of your eyeglass prescription.
Services include the detection and treatment of eye disease, management of Glaucoma, Cataract, Macular Degeneration and Dry Eye Disease among others.
Children’s eye exam are provided and are covered by Manitoba Health.
- ONLY DOWNTOWN: We have added Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to our eye exam regime in order to see beneath the surface of the Retina; great for tracking disease and seeing early signs of Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration (AMD).
- Contact Lens Fittings: we provide fittings for kids, adults and weekend warriors including bifocal contacts.
- Glaucoma Management: we provide diagnostic and treatment services for patients with glaucoma.
- Diabetic Eye Exams: we provide dilated eye exams with fundus photography and counselling to help you prevent Diabetic Retinopathy.
- Dry Eye Disease: Diagnosis and Treatment offered for the various dry eye diseases. Featuring products from LabticianThea: multi-dose preservative-free lubricating eye drops.
- Macular Degeneration: Treatment now available for dry macular degeneration with MacuMira.
Services
Myopia Control
Only at our downtown location we offer effective treatment for slowing the progression of nearsightedness in children using Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) also known as ORTHO-K or OK. Other methods of myopia control include the misight soft contact lens and medical therapy using eye drops.
